About ProCrew Directory
ProCrew Directory lists local trade businesses by state, city and trade, with the phone number, posted hours, Google rating and the date that rating was pulled. It covers 10 trades: tree service, chimney services, septic service, hvac, generator installation, insulation, pest control, garage door repair, mobile welding, auto glass. It is operated by TruAido, a small marketing company that works with the same trades, and the directory is free for homeowners and free for business owners.
Where listings come from
Listings start from public business records and Google business profiles for a city. We keep businesses with a working phone number and a real local presence, and we leave out corporate chains, permanently closed businesses and listings with no phone. Each import is dated; the date appears on every listing as "as of".
Ratings and reviews
The star rating and review count shown on a listing are the Google rating and count on the date of our last import. We do not copy review text, reviewer names or photos from Google. We do not write reviews, accept paid reviews, or adjust ratings. Ratings refresh when we re-import a city, which we aim to do at least once a quarter.
What "owner reported" means
Free estimates, after-hours calls, towns served and the trade-specific answer on a listing come from the business owner, either on a short courtesy call from us or through the claim form. We show the date we asked. We do not verify those answers; they are labeled "owner reported" for that reason, and "not reported" means the owner has not told us yet, not that the answer is no.
Order of listings
On a city page, claimed listings appear first, then listings sorted by Google review count. Premium listings, which are a paid option for owners, appear at the top of their trade with a "featured" label. Nothing else about placement is for sale.
Claiming or correcting a listing
Any owner can claim a listing for free from the "Claim this listing" link on the listing page. If the mobile number on the claim matches the listing's phone, or the email is at the business's own website domain, the claim is confirmed immediately. Otherwise we confirm by phone within a few days. To correct a listing, remove one, or report a problem, email info@procrewdirectory.com with the listing link.
Quote requests
When a homeowner sends a quote request from a listing, we pass the name, phone, town and job description to that business and nothing else. We do not keep the homeowner's details, add them to any list, or share them with any other business. See the privacy policy.
